Derrick Hill Bio

The Rev. Derrick C. Hill, Assistant to the Rector- Adult Christian Formation, Cursillo, and In-Reach Ministries
 
Derrick has always lived in the Birmingham area, with the exception of his college days. He grew up at First Baptist Church, Trussville where he was baptized as a youth. Upon graduating from Auburn, Derrick was confirmed in the Episcopal Church at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Trussville.  Derrick comes to St. Mary's after graduating from the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee.  His wife, Beverly is a lifelong member of the Diocese of Alabama and works for Protective Life Insurance.

Derrick and Beverly have two children-son Bailey who works in Birmingham and daughter Olivia who is a senior at Jefferson County International Baccalaureate.
