Stephanie Spinks Bio

Stephanie Spinks- Assistant Director of Children's Christian Formation

 

Stephanie was born in Portland, Oregon and moved to Jackson, Mississippi when she was 3 years old. She lived in Jackson until she went to Mississippi State University and graduated in May 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and moved to Birmingham. She married her husband Andy Spinks in October of 2010 at St. Mary’s.  They both call St. Mary’s home since she was confirmed in 2008 and he was confirmed in 2011. Ever since 2005, she’s worked with children through the nursery or working in the atrium here at St. Mary’s.  Most recently, she was a Preschool teacher at St. Luke’s Day School from 2008-2012.  She loves working with children and felt called to work as an Assistant to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program to make it grow even more than it has. Currently she is trained in Level I and Level II and can’t wait to finish the journey of Level III in the summer of 2014.
