Sunday Mornings

Children in 3K-3rd Grade are invited to sing at the 3:15 PM service on Christmas Eve.  Rehearsals will be on the following Sundays:  November 23, December 7, 14, and 21.

Christmas Cookies for 

Our Neighbors in Need

We are partnering with Highlands United Methodist Church to provide a wonderful Christmas Eve breakfast for our Southside neighbors. We would love to have plenty of Christmas cookies for our friends to enjoy. 

Please drop off all cookies at the Outreach Office by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, and label them for HUMC Christmas Eve.  Thank You!

Deadline is Wednesday, December 17!

Each year at St. Mary's, Christmas is remembered with special music and decorations, which are funded by donations that honor the memory of loved ones as well as gifts offered in thanksgiving for those who continue to enrich our lives.

Information received in the Parish Office by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17 will be printed in the Christmas Eve orders of service.  

Sunday, January 4

5:00 PM

On January 4, we will share the story of Jesus’ birth at the evening Epiphany service.  Children 3K through 6th grade will come to church in costume and sit with their families. The printed order of service will indicate when each group is to come to the front of the church and sit by the manger.  Costumes can be as simple or elaborate as you want. Homemade is great!  Costumes are available to borrow from the children’s hall. Here are the age group assignments:

3K:  Angels

4K:  Sheep

5K:  Stars

1st/2nd Grades:  Donkeys and Cows

3rd Grade:  Shepherds

4th - 6th Grades:  Lead Roles

We invite you to join our twice-monthly support group.  We welcome individuals who are caring for loved ones and seeking emotional support and guidance.

Benefiting the Clothing Closet at

Highlands UMC

Our community ministry partner, Highlands United Methodist Church, manages a clothing closet for our neighborhood friends in need. We are collecting the following items to support this ministry: 

• Gently used men's and women's clothing (such as t-shirts, tops, sweatshirts, jackets, belts, and pants)
• Gently used men's and women's tennis shoes
• New men's and women's underwear and socks

All donations can be left in the St. Mary's Outreach office.

Monday-Friday

8:40 AM in the Nave

All are welcome to join us for this lay-led daily office.  Enter Drennen House via the motor court door and take the elevator to Level 3R.   On the first Thursday of the month, members of our choir lead a sung service of Morning Prayer.

Christian Education and Fellow ship Breakfasts resume on Sunday, January 25.  

WE HAVE CONCLUDED OUR GATHERINGS FOR 2025.  WE WILL RESUME THE WEEK OF JANUARY 26.
